Dr. Lane Arrendell

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Lane has been practicing in East Texas since 2010. She is a 2009 graduate from Texas A&M University and began her practice at Veterinary Services of Gladewater in May 2016. She purchased the practice in January 2020, renaming it Healthy Paws Animal Hospital in 2021. Dr. Lane enjoys practicing in a small community and enjoys the relationships she builds with her clients from Gladewater, White Oak and the surrounding communities. She has three sons, Rhett, Rowan, and Kullen. She and her husband, Clint, enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with their children.

Dr. Tori Chambers

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Tori Chambers began working in veterinary medicine in 2014. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2021. She began working as a veterinarian at Healthy Paws Animal Hospital in June of 2021. She enjoys teaching the importance of preventative medicine, improving animal's quality of life, and performing soft tissue surgery. Her favorite thing about Healthy Paws is the team-centric environment focused around patient welfare and client experience. Dr. Chambers met her husband, Drew, during their undergraduate studies and married in July 2017. They share their home with a black Labrador Retriever named Jethro, a Rat Terrier mix named Mia, and a tuxedo cat named Jack Jack. In her free time, Dr. Chambers enjoys cooking, watching movies, traveling and hiking.

Dr. Ian Spencer

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Ian Spencer began his career in veterinary medicine in 2012. After receiving his undergraduate degree from East Texas Baptist University, he continued his education at Texas A&M University. He graduated with his doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2021. Dr. Spencer loves helping people by helping their pets. He has been with Healthy Paws Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian since April 2022. Dr. Spencer and his wife, Shelby, are the proud parents to their sons John and Lee. They share their home with two cats, Dash and Violet. Dr. Spencer enjoys spending time outdoors, running, and biking.

Alayah Alexander

Kennel Technician
Room Assistant

Alayah began working at Healthy Paws as a kennel technician and room assistant in February of 2024. She is currently attending Tyler Junior College pursuing a degree in biology with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. She loves helping animals, even in the “small ways” such as providing clean and cool drinking water or giving vaccinations. She is an avid learner and her passion for animals and their care grows stronger every day! Her favorite thing about working at Healthy Paws is her relationship with her coworkers; “I can ask questions when I need help, or someone will always be willing to help me with an animal if needed.” Alayah has a bearded dragon named Citrus. In her free time she goes to the gym, works on car modification, drawing, reading, and crocheting.

Sam Blount, LVT

Veterinary Technician

Sam graduated from Volunteer State Community College in 2020 and began her career in veterinary medicine in 2020. She loves getting to help pets feel their best and loves the family feel of the Healthy Paws staff and our relationship with the community. She and her husband Cade share their home with two chihuahuas Penny and Lila. Sam enjoys cooking, yoga and traveling.

Madison Andrews, VRCE

Receptionist

Madison began working at Healthy Paws as a receptionist in July 2023. She received her Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence (VRCE) in 2024. She loves getting to see new faces every day—human and animal alike! She has most enjoyed seeing patients go home happy and healthy after hard work and collaboration between our staff and clients. She is mom to Serenity and Bryson. She and her fiancé Michael share their home with cats Luna, Lola, and Leo, and a Miniature Dachshund Estelle. In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, singing and organizing.

Taylor Dugan, CVA I

Veterinary Technician

Taylor has worked in veterinary medicine since 2015 and started working at Healthy Paws in November 2021. She graduated from Tyler Junior College with an associates degree in Animal Science. Taylor’s favorite thing about veterinary medicine is getting to see all the patients and being the best advocate for them; also seeing a smile on the owners faces when their fur-baby has improved under our care. She loves working at Healthy Paws because of the generosity, patience, understanding, and compassion we show towards each patient and owner. Taylor, her husband, Mike, and their children Edith and Owen share their home with Red Tick Coon Hound named Beaudroux, a Chocolate Labrador named Case, and a French-ton named Walker. In her free time she enjoys being with family, reading, movie nights, and spending time outdoors.

Kim Evans, VRCE

Receptionist

Kim started her career in veterinary medicine under the previous ownership in December 2015. She received her Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence (VRCE) in 2024. She loves the variety of pets we see and the relationships she makes with the owners. Her favorite thing about Healthy Paws is the great team she works with. Kim is married to her high school sweetheart Thomas, with children Chace and Riley. She is a proud grandmother of Kassidie, Tinley, and Brooklyn. Kim shares her home with dogs Angel, Annie, Bumper, Chewy, Darby, and Piper, and cats Munchkin and Mamma Kitty. In her free time, Kim spends time with her grandkids.

Danyele Ferguson

Veterinary Technician
Department Lead

Danyele has worked in veterinary medicine since 2016. Danyele previously worked at Veterinary Services of Gladewater; she returned to work at Healthy Paws in March 2022 and was promoted to department lead in 2024. Her favorite thing about working in veterinary medicine is advocating for her patients. She loves the healthy work environment that Healthy Paws offers. Danyele and her husband Chris share their home with two mixed breed dogs named Cassie and Sophie. When she’s not working, Danyele enjoys spending time with her family.

Carly Fountain, CVA I

Veterinary Technician

Carly has worked as a veterinary technician at our practice since March 2020. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2005. She has degrees in history, political science, art, and science. She received her Level 1 Texas Veterinary Assistant Certification in 2020. Carly’s favorite thing about veterinary medicine is educating clients on how to best care for their pets and being able to work as a team in a way that will result in the best possible outcome of care for the patient. She also enjoys learning and furthering her education and advancing her knowledge to help to enhance her patients’ quality of life. Carly loves working at Healthy Paws because of our team. We have a wonderful group of experts on this team that are not only caring but have a passion for what they do. She has two children, Kimber and Carson. They share their home with a lazy orange polydactyl tabby cat named Carl, and a hyper Boxer mix named Baxter. Carly’s hobbies include kayaking, visiting national parks, ziplining, painting and reading. She is also an aquarium enthusiast!

Kayla Geter

Kennel Technician
Room Assistant

Kayla began working in veterinary medicine when she was hired at Healthy Paws in May 2022. Kayla attended Tyler Junior College. Kayla is known for her positive, easy-going attitude. She shows kindness and compassion to each and every patient! She is mom to cats Mars and Venus. In her free time she enjoys going to museums and picnicking.

Heather Howe, CVA I

Veterinary Technician

Heather began working in veterinary medicine when she started at Healthy Paws in August 2022 as a kennel technician. She received her Level 1 Texas Veterinary Assistant Certification in April 2023. She began training as a veterinary technician in August 2023. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is helping the sick and injured dogs and cats and keeping the others healthy. She loves working at Healthy Paws because of her great coworkers! She also enjoys being able to learn something new every day. She and her husband Ethan are parents to Harrison, Jace, Reagan, Kadin, and Kolton. They share their home with an American Bulldog named Lena and a Black Mouth Cur-Pit mix named Scooby. Heather’s hobbies are working on projects around the house and spending time with my family and friends.

Catom Morris

Veterinary Technician

Catom started her career in veterinary medicine in 2018. She began working as a veterinary technician at Healthy Paws in January 2024. Catom extends compassion to every client and cares well for their pets. She loves Healthy Paws for the healthy, family oriented work environment. Her husband Michael and kids Sawyer, Anneliese, and Lukas share their home with four Great Danes: Athena, Artemis, Apollo, and Atticus. In her free time she enjoys watching true crime, reading, & spending time with her family.

Kat Renfroe

Veterinary Technician

Kat began working in veterinary medicine in 2017 and was hired at Healthy Paws as a veterinary technician in May 2024. She loves being able to meet all of our patients and help them to go home happy and healthy. She loves the professional and knowledgeable Healthy Paws staff; she says they are all wonderful to work with! Kat and her husband Jordan share their home with a Labrador/Pyrenees mix named Klepto, Australian Shepherd named Gypsy, and two cats named Spaz and Cleo.

Katie Robinson

Receptionist
Veterinary Technician

Katie is our longest-tenured employee, having worked at our practice since May 2014 as a veterinary technician, transitioning to reception in 2022. Katie's favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is the long-term relationships with the patients and clients. Katie is known for her outgoing and friendly personality and wonderful memory. Katie and her husband Jamie are parents to four children Darian, Darcie, Kaiya, and Danielle. They share their home with dogs Tucker, Yoda, and a cat named Carl. Katie spends all of her free time at the drag races with her husband. 

Amber Taylor, VRCE

Receptionist
Department Lead

Amber has been in veterinary medicine since 1997, working in every department! She has been on staff at Healthy Paws Animal Hospital as a receptionist since July 2019, and was promoted to department lead in 2024. She received her Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence (VRCE) in 2024. Her favorite thing about her job is serving our clients and building relationships to promote the health and well-being of their pets. She loves Healthy Paws because she feels our team is encouraged to continue education and better ourselves so that we may continue to provide outstanding service to our clients, and a higher level of care to our patients. She and her husband, Chad, have two sons, Jacob and Colby. They share their home with Bane a jack russell, Hank an Australian shepherd, and Rip an Australian shepherd. In her free time, Amber enjoys wreath making and baking sourdough bread.

Amber West, CVA I

Practice Manager

Amber is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2010 and has been on staff at Healthy Paws since January 2020. Her favorite part about working at Healthy Paws is being able to nurture a positive, team driven work culture and promoting an environment that is patient and client focused. Amber and her husband Justin share their home with cats Tele, Cheeseburger, and Potato and a Boxer named June. In her free time Amber enjoys cooking and singing in the band Fiction Love.
